Kim Rudat, Resident in Counseling

Kim is a resident in counseling and holds an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She has supervised clinical experience in couples counseling, specifically including premarital matters, high-conflict relationships, separating and divorcing individuals/couples, and blended family challenges.

Her areas of focus include helping clients develop effective means of communication, and breaking through any behavioral impasse toward relationship satisfaction, hope, and lasting change. Additionally, she welcomes children struggling to understand and cope with emotions associated with parental divorce.

 Arlete Jones, Graduate Student Intern

Arlete is currently working on her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. She is an intern under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Her experience includes volunteering and interning at different organizations and private practices providing children and adult individual counseling, facilitating parenting classes, and co-facilitating children’s therapy group. A bilingual providing counseling in Portuguese and English, she has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and enjoys working with a variety of clients including children and adults.

She believes that counseling should be a safe and welcoming experience that allows clients to feel motivated to grow and achieve overall emotional health. Arlete strives to provide supportive and collaborative work with clients to build strengths and positive changes.
